Description

The primary purpose of your job position is the provision of resident services, including assistance with personal care, social and recreational activities, meal services, and other tasks as needed to facilitate the continued well-being of the resident. 

The hours (20-25/week) of this position is from 3pm-8pm, including weekends. 

Summary of essential job functions

  • Adheres to and conveys a philosophy that supports the dignity, privacy, independence, choice, and individuality of residents.
  • Serves meals that are attractive in appearance. 
  • Serve food in accordance with established portion control procedures. 
  • Assit in daily or scheduled cleaning duties, in accordance with established policies and procedures. 
  • Clean equipment as used. 
  • Sweep floor as needed. 
  • Clear and carry soiled dishware to wash areas. 
  • Return clean dishware to proper storage areas for next meal.
  • Wash and clean dishware or pots and pans as needed.
  • Keep work areas clean, dry, and free of hazardous equipment, supplies.
  • Set up meals trays, food carts, and dining rooms as instructed.
  • Must be able to push, pull, move and/or lift a minimum of 50 pounds to a minimum height of 3 feet.

Skills necessary

  • Must have a high school diploma or its equivalent.
  • On the job training provided.
