Victorian Village of Homer Glen is seeking a Full-Time CNA from 8AM- 8PM. 3 days one week and 4 days the other week with Every other weekend required. This is an excellent career opportunity for individuals who are truly passionate about providing care for the elderly! This individual will be filling in where there is extra help needed. They will utilize their help to Independent Living. 


The primary purpose of your job position is to provide each of your assigned residents with routine daily assistance and service in accordance with the resident’s assessment and care plan, and as may be directed by the Campus Care Supervisor. Additional work organizing and developing activities is also part of the essential functions.

  • Grooming and bathing assistance
  • Walking 
  • Meal Delivery
  • Laundry Services
  • Pet Services (dog walking, feeding, watering and cat feeding, watering and changing litter)
  • Assist with the Admissions process and greet residents and family members.
  • Assist in toileting, bathing, and daily grooming of assigned residents.
  • Maintain a calm, pleasant living environment for the residents.
  • Wear a gait belt to assist residents who are not fully ambulatory.
  • Document changes in medical condition to the appropriate nurses on duty.
  • Give and receive shift reports to ensure consistent medical care is delivered.
  • Measure and record vital signs as necessary or instructed.


Skills necessary

  • Must be CNA Certified in the State of Illinois.
  • Must truly have a desire to care for the elderly.
  • Must have a compassionate, empathetic and nurturing personality.
  • Previous experience in Campus Care or Assisted Living is necessary.
  • Must be able to push, pull, move and/or lift a minimum of 50 pounds to a minimum height of 3 feet.
