 We are seeking a Part-Time Dining Room Server for our Victorian Village Facility in Homer Glen, IL.


The primary purpose of your job position is to assist with meal set-up, serving and all dietary functions as directed/instructed in accordance with established sanitary regulations and following our policies & procedures.

 Currently, we have various part time shifts available:

 Days include Monday, Tuesday and every other weekend with additional shifts as needed. Hours vary from 7:30 am - 2:30 pm and from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm with roating weekends.  15-20 hours per week.


 Summary of essential job functions

  • Serve meals that are attractive in appearance; and using established portion control procedures.
  • Assist in daily or scheduled cleaning duties; i.e. clean equipment, sweep floors, clear and carry soiled dishware to wash areas, return clean dishware to proper storage areas , wash and clean dishware or pots & pans as needed, assist cook in preparing meals when needed, and deliver food trays to designated areas.
  • Must be able to push, pull, move and/or lift a minimum of 50 pounds to a minimum height of 3 feet.

Skills necessary

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous dining server experience a plus but not required.
  • Candidates must have patience, tact and a cheerful, enthusiastic disposition.
  • Must be able to relate to and deal tactfully with other personnel, clients, family members and visitors of our community.
