Providence Life Services is seeking a Part-Time Dietary Aide for Providence Healthcare in Downers Grove . This is an excellent career opportunity for individuals who are truly passionate about working with our senior living residents.

 Hours: 2:30pm-10:30pm with Every other weekend required. 



The primary purpose of your job position is to provide assistance in all dietary functions as directed/instructed and in accordance with established dietary policies and procedures.


Summary of essential job functions


  • Assist in daily or scheduled cleaning duties, in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Clean equipment as used.
  • Sweep floors as needed.
  • Clear and carry soiled dishware to wash areas.
  • Return clean dishware to proper storage areas for next meal.
  • Wash and clean dishware or pots and pans as needed.
  • Keep work areas clean, dry and free of hazardous equipment, supplies.
  • Perform dishwashing/cleaning procedures.
  • Must be able to push, pull, move and/or lift a minimum of 50 pounds to a minimum height of 3 feet


Skills necessary


  • A high school diploma or its equivalent.
  • Dietary experience a plus.
  • On-the-job training is provided.
